Hi, I'm Ricci Hale!

I am a Holistic Empowerment Coach and Registered Nurse on a mission to empower women (who are struggling with stress, anxiety and depression) to be the master of their mental wellness, so that they can feel at peace, confident, and in control of their lives, and thrive!

I am passionate about providing an integrative, holistic approach to wellness, since I have experienced what it has done for my life, and my son's life.

 

Today, I am living a healthy, happy and peaceful life, aligned with my values and goals, and living my purpose. I cultivate healthy relationships and I practice guiltless self-care. I have learned how to break free from what's keeping me stuck, and integrate positive life-style habits, so that I feel mentally strong and in control, the best version of me!

My Journey

 

It wasn't always like this though. I have struggled with emotional stress, anxiety and feeling depressed in many waves throughout my life. For me, it started at the young age of 12, when I endured the loss of my mother, separation from my younger brothers, and the loss of my home, thereby totally losing all sense of security and stability.

Despite persevering through these events and appearing as though I had it together and in control, deep down I was a wreck, feeling terribly insecure and not in control of my life at all. I felt as though I was always living in fear, and this followed me into my adult years. We all experience trauma at some point in our lives. But having no idea what to do with it can certainly hold us back in life.

​

To cope, I put a lot of effort into suppressing my inner crisis, trying to be perfect, and construct the perfect life, thinking that would somehow bring me emotional freedom – the “fake it till you make it” strategy. I put my attention on things in life that I thought would fulfill me, and bring me happiness, calmness, and security. That didn't cut it. They were shells, a superficial solution. I knew something had to change, but I wasn't sure what.

My Training

 

  • Registered Nurse –  I became an RN to specialize in Health and Wellness. My journey ironically led me to specialize in treating patients with mental health issues (nothing is a coincidence in this universe!). My training and experience has enhanced my desire to treat the WHOLE person, and my insight to know that prescriptive drugs, for many (not all), are not enough to achieve long-lasting happiness, peace, confidence, and control, to live your fullest life.
     

  • Member of American Holistic Nurses Association – Provides the latest research and developments of how nurses can help clients improve the quality of their lives. I incorporate workshops and seminar information into my programs based on evidenced-based practices from this highly regarded organization.
     

  • Certified Health Coach and Certified Transformational Coach – As a Certified Health Coach from the Health Coach Institute, I study programs developed by leading experts. Dr. Dan Engle, M.S., a psychiatrist, neurologist, and leading expert in brain and mood disorders, developed a course on Brain & Mood health. Dr. Engle’s findings are based on years of research, hard scientific evidence, and rooted in habit change. â€‹(drdanengle.com)

    I then become certified in the Transformational Coaching Method from the Health Coach Institute, which played a key role in my own personal transformation, which I integrate into the programs I develop.

My Programs

My coaching program is the combination of my training, experience, and teachings of holistic and functional medicine experts. The core applies Dr. Engle’s teachings into actionable techniques that transforms mind, body and spiritual health while boosting brain health. If you work with me, together we will:

 

  • Discover what changes you need to make both internally and externally to bring your body and mind back into a state of harmony and calm your mind.

 

  • Identify your ideal health goals, develop a road map to help you get there, and execute an action plan for success that feels right for you. 

 

  • Keep you on track with attainable action steps, gentle encouragement, positive motivation, support, and accountability.
